We had the opportunity to present the positions developed jointly by the BdB (Association of German Banks) and TSI and to answer questions from the committee members.<\/p>\n<h3>The various presentations and the subsequent discussion made it clear that<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The European Parliament is engaged in intensive and constructive discussions on the European Commission&#8217;s legislative proposals to improve securitisation regulation in SECR and CRR.<\/li>\n<li>Important fundamental questions were discussed on how securitisation contributes to financing the transformation and specifically supports the real economy.<\/li>\n<li>There is a need for improvement in some key areas.
