However, it does not address core areas of national civil law \u2013 including tax, labour, and insolvency law.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Potential opportunities for the securitisation market?<span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">While the focus is clearly on start-ups, the scope of the EU Inc. extends further. Although details are not yet finalised, the EU Inc. holds\u00a0additional\u00a0promise: if all parties to a securitisation transaction\u00a0operate\u00a0as EU Inc. entities, processes could become more efficient\u00a0\u2013\u00a0since national regulations could eventually be replaced. That said, the road ahead is likely to be long, and during the transition, mixed portfolios might even create extra work.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Outlook: Assessment and next steps<\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The EU Inc. is primarily a corporate law instrument, simplifying the legal structure of companies. However, the\u00a0real challenges\u00a0\u2013\u00a0fragmented taxation, divergent labour laws, national insolvency rules, and sector-specific regulations\u00a0\u2013\u00a0remain unresolved for now. Nevertheless, the EU Inc. opens the door to\u00a0establishing\u00a0at least an effective 28th corporate law regime.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The draft will now be debated in the European Parliament and Council.
