TSI and its verification subsidiary SVI have teamed up with the Austrian lawfirm Wolf Theiss to produce a series of articles on the topic of “Green Bonds and Securitisation – Paving the Way towards Financing the Sustainable Transformation?”
This will provide market participants with some much-needed guidance for this overall topic. We have structured the series as follows:
- Kick-off: The series kicks off with an article on Green Bonds in general and what role the European Green Bond Standard could play in the financing of the transition through the capital markets – >> The European Green Bond Standard – Gold standard for green bonds or regulatory burden?
- Second half: Part two will focus on the development of the market and framework for sustainable securitisation and how this interacts with the „Simple, Transparent and Standardised“ (ST”) premium segment of the securitisation market. - Extra time: The series will conclude with interviews with leading bank and securitisation market experts who will give their view on practical aspects issuing Green bonds and sustainable securitisations.
